and it was learn by TW shogun2, but they have fix it, things work there. To my knowledge its know as game crash doing startup, ( splash screen effect ) thats game intro loading screen.
What steam will do about is another matter, another thirdpart app need by some games. Flash has change over time, so that can still effect games if devs did not change or update game.
